Founded in 1972 by Professor Heinz Walz, the company initially focused on developing gas exchange systems using advanced technologies created by leading German scientists.

Key Milestones in Company Development

  • 1985: Introduction of the first serially produced PAM-101 fluorometer, developed in collaboration with Dr. Ulrich Schreiber from the University of Würzburg.
  • 1991: Launch of the first portable fluorometer.
